About Us
Our community garden is located at Laker Reserve, Elva Street, Strathfield.
Community members, especially those without access to gardening space, can get involved in growing vegetables, fruit and herbs. It's a great way to enjoy the outdoors, grow your own healthy food and become involved in the Strathfield community. It is also a place to meet and learn. Applications to become a member of the Community Garden are available on the contact page. Please complete the form and return to Council. For more information contact us via our Facebook page, or email [email protected]. You can also contact Strathfield Council on 9748 9999 or [email protected]. |

• Herb beds can be accessed & harvested by members anytime • Our garden produces year round • We use a simple 4 bed rotation system, deciding on what to plant at working bees |

• Membership fees are set by council • Membership allows full access to the garden with 1 key per membership • Non-members are welcome at all working bees, open days & community events |
